I’ve had them for 12 months, still keeping the water out (mostly) and the sole hasn’t started to peal yet.

 

They’re as light as you’ll get for a climbing boot with chainsaw protection, and I’ve been really impressed with how well they’ve lasted-confident I’ll get another winter out of them at least. 

Scarfel lite’s last well (imo) but aren’t the most comfortable, plus they’re not light. I had the Andrews Cervino XP before these, nice and light but knackered within 6 months, never again!

I think there are still a few that don't have the PU midsole, Pfanner Tirol being one. Some of the more expensive Haix say they have vibram soles too, different to the £250 ones.

A friend had these thought for him.  He should have had ground boots as he isn’t a climber.

 

they do look pretty good though.  Fairly light and holding up well to ground work.
