Yeh, i recon in the first pic, you would only need 4 or 5 logs to fill a net:001_tongue:

 

Guess its all to do with the fire they are going in!

 

If such as young bud Flamin ace has customers who like em like that size, or if you are splitting for yourself and you have a big stove say, it sure saves some work:thumbup1:

 

Nice tidy heap all the same Garry:thumbup:

i think its all down to the wood you put in.if its damp wood you put into this stove you get lots of smoke.i only put in dry wood realy happy with this stove.i work with a german guy fitting this type of stoves.this was a demo stove got it for 600euro in the shops the are 1600euro.
