Wood supplier Midlothian area?

Hello folks, I've been viewing this site for a long time and, this is my first post, I should also state, I'm in a totally different trade from you guys, hence my plea!

 

As per title above, can you recommend decent supplier around Midlothian, I'm based just outside Dalkeith, been told local estate no longer supplies wood for domestic use?

I am based in Glenrothes and have a chainsaw with milling attachment. I also have a kiln and dry my own timber. I am a cabinet maker/woodturner and use mainly beech, oak, elm, ash and silver birch. I have some oak miled into various sizes, I could also mill some to your requirements if necessary. Or are you looking for firewood.

 

Or you could try Shaun Yates he's only 2 minutes from dalkeith.

many thanks for your replies and, my apologies for not being specific of my needs, which is, firewood for m/f stove, I have noted Roseberry Estate, will drop by there at the weekend, time willing.

 

Where does one find Shaun Yates, if he supplies logs? I should add, I'm happy to take in any format, I can saw and split if required.

I was up in glencorse bks today and there is someone selling log for £3 a bag just beside the fishermans Thryst if thats any good to you.
