quite rare to smash a full set! we find rebar to be relatively soft you can see the sparks at night a bit like tracers and a tinkling noise as the shrapnel ejects through the system never good to see inch bits of steel on the top of the chip pile,  never enough time to reverse in-feed to prevent damage tho. one of the deciding factors  in our purchase blade price and limit of damage, one of the hurdles of grab fed chippers. fortunately we have removed a multitude of stuff on its way on to and along the infeed, but also have chipped some, what we thought to be, unchippable produce, the strength of the blade holders to be commended

pattern blades from HQ chipper parts are much cheaper, about half the price of heizo ones and just as good
