Emerald Green Arborvitaes - Brownish Yellowing

My next newbie question is about my three 6ft Emerald Green Arborvitaes that were planted this August, but now since the weather is getting much colder here in Tennessee I have noticed some light yellowing and light browning on all three trees. Is there much I can do about this? They have been getting frequent water when planted a few months back. I just want to do everything I can to help them through the Winter. Thanks!

ok thanks! Same with the Japanese Cedar browning that I posted earlier. The browning is on the inside of the tree. Just checking with you all to confirm. Someone here local told me" The tree will shed old needles 2x / year in spring and fall. When the new leaves come out at the tips the tree takes energy away from the inner most leaves and they brown and fall off.  The tree is ok."

Im just nervous when I see this. I really get attached to these beautiful trees...Thanks again
