Vole guards

Recommended Posts

Could anybody enlighten me- what are the average prices for Planting plus installing vole guards with a small bamboo sticks? A job’s coming up, but I have never priced up a vole guard job before.

Is 45-50p per planting+vole guard+bamboo stick a decent price or should it go up or down? Thanks

What size trees your planting, and ground conditions (rocky, full of stones etc) I'd take both these into account before deciding a price. Personally, I think that price is  a bit too low. It's probably a bit late this season, unless your planting cell grown etc

Thanks for your reply! I was told plants will be approx. 15-25 cm long. It’s a soft ground, but not mounded- basically flat planting in a small grass.
Estate wants us to do the job the end of April, so I guess it’s either cell grown plants or they just don’t care. We’ve done planting for them in the middle of the summer aswell, so that’s nothing new for them.

What would be your approximate price for this kind of ground for planting+vole guard+bamboo stick and how would you price it if it was in mounds?
