@Peasgood said he was ordering an Eastonmade 12-22 from the uk supplier, would love to hear how he got on.

I like the look of their splitters, my only gripes (from watching the videos) would be;

Petrol engine on most of them (not diesel)

You'd need a conveyor to take the logs away, don't think any of the horizontal splitters come with an attached conveyor

4ft total width, so a bit narrow for road towing, assuming they're legal for that

Not sure how ergonomic the location of the control valves is?

They do look well built though

Haven't had much chance to use it as I am in the nasty depths of cancer treatment still.

Did get to have a play though and it is quick, powerful for any timber. Does create a significant amount of waste/bits but not excessive. Does need a screen or cleaner of some sort and an elevator is a big help. I use an old adapted bale elevator to good effect.

Log lift is useful.

It's a bit expensive to buy but will last forever and probably not reduce in value. No regrets.

Above comments are based on using the box wedge.

Sorry to hear of your ill health!  I wish you all the best!

Do you have a link to where you bought it from?

Thank you.

I bought it off Ian Gregory who I met at APF. He posts on FB Firewood and Processors page and think he trades as Essex Logs and Fences.
