Just got this and it looks like it's hardly been used. How much is it worth?

Nothing if the clutch bearing cadge has collapsed and the end of the crank has gon oval .  Maybe £ 270/300 if its post that episode .

Does it stall if you put the chain brake on ? If not its a goodun .

As per Stubby. This is an early pre Mtronic one and they were very susceptible to clutch bearing, drum and crank wear. Check it out and if bad, check the crank and if this is OK, check out the oiler arm as well as the movement on the drum often wears the end off the arm.

Basically, the early ones were a bit of a crock!

The longer video is it running with the chain brake on. Not an expert with saws, doing my courses end of the month so completely new to me. But that sounds strange when the brake is on. But it doesn't stall...

Also is there a certain type of 2 stroke oil/chain oil I should be using with this saw or will any chainsaw oil do well?

Just take the side cover, chain and bar off and see how much wobble there is on the clutch drum.....video it if you like and want an opinion

Taking a bit of a guess here but here's a video.

Does it sound a bit off to you when idling?
