Homebuilt Bandsaw Mill

I thought that this guy was impressive and honest about his work but it made me think about my Lucas Mill.  I have the Lucas slabber and it works but is slow and hard work manually, easier with a winch.   I thought that a band saw like this would sit nicely on the Lucas frame which would solve a lot of the problems he had with raising and lowering.

I am surprised Lucas do not have one as an option.  You could leave the bandsaw at one end on the extension rails and the circular saw on the other end to make it easy to switch between jobs
