Tecomec Chainsaw grinders

I have decided to upgrade my cheapo chainsaw grinder in the hope I can convert it to sharpen bandsaw blades. Read lots of threads on here and lots of folk rate the 'Italian made Tecomec' as they apparently make the Oregon grinders.

Well my new grinder arrived yesterday and they do indeed seem nicely made but was surprised to see this on the plate! IMG_20220220_063011.thumb.jpg.ed83e1a02adf90f38d24a4ffa6325b4a.jpg

I am not too bother but I know others on here feel very strongly about Chinese kit so thought I would share. There seems to be a perception these are Italian grinders when they are not

Out of interest where was the one made you are up grading from ?
