Cross breeding combi units

There's a post here somewhere talking about cross compatibility of combi/Kombi units.

Can Anyone put me in to ge right direction.

So I'll explain what I mean in jest I talk of cross breeding. I'm Simply meaning Stihl possibly being able to run Hyundai equipment for example.

I was given a 240v Aldi pole hedge cutter.

The motor burnt out. Yes I could get parts. Or thrown it to land fill. Seams a waste. But perhaps the unit could be pared to a petrol power unit.

Does anyone know about compatability with other brands, I'm presuming it's Todo with shaft diameter [emoji2957] and Splines matching up.

Worx, Lidl Flora best, B&q powerpro

If budget/ noname brands attachments, (bought by those home owners or dIYist) could be used with commercial power units.

There may be a saving time made If there redily available or gifted by the customer as unwanted.

Yes they may not last as well but a free replacement for a season is a saving.
