I believe I saw a detailed comparison video of the saws by skogsforum.se where they went through measuring bar, weight empty and full etc etc.

I think the Husqvarna loses one or two of the cm quoted so 15" is more like a 14" on the 261, not totally sure. Either way, personally I think 16" is just fine on the 261, plenty of power for it.

Which saw, still haven't decided that myself as my old 261 keeps going.
