No problem I was just trying to highlight that we have found now it's better to get the stitching done then possibly go through the same thing twice.

 

We have found a couple of thing that help the use of braces keeps them up and stops them falling down under their own weight, then when you open your legs all the pressure is at the sewn point at the bottom of the zip.

The other thing is to put a few locking stitches at the bottom of the zip this seems to help 100% (everyone we have told this to has never had a zip fail). S'air are now doing this as standard.

Sorry - typo :blushing: I was in a hurry :) Its a dig at whoever makes the damn things then lol They are good trousers but they really need to sort the zip issue out.

We were typing at the same time Jonsie. You are right its better to sort the stiches out youself in the long run. Our logic was if they get loads of returns they might take notice..... worth a try!
