Stihl MS390 base carb settings

Hi all, has anyone got any MS390 base carb settings without limiters.  I purchased it years ago pretty beat up, just getting it sorted now.  Carbs been stripped & cleaned, all jets & ports etc.  Fresh fuel.  Its fires up ok and wont rev when blip throttle, then dies.  Ive messed with carb settings a bit but makes it worse.  L is wound out 3 full turns & H 6 full turns.  carnt find any base settings on the net which are not limited.  Want to get back to standard and go from there.  ta

Most start off with 1.25 to 1.5 turns on both screws, what you have there will be rich on both screws

There's the service manual. Page 71- one turn on both high and low jets from seated. You should be tuning with a tach if you have one though or go with peatff's and play it safe

thank you guys.  just what i need.  i'll start with what you say and wind out accordingly to richen her up.  yes i have a tach.  i searched for ages and only came up with info with limiters fitted.  I shall give it a go and go from there.
