550 on a 15 inch bar is awesome ! I’ve just been shown how to square grind too and that in syc and larch is superb !

How are you finding that square filing when a field re-sharpen is called for?
That’s what’s put me off the ‘dark art’

I’ve just bought a 550xp mk2 (after everyone on here has beenraving about them !!!)
All I could see in the owners manual regarding the bed in/auto tune was to run it for 10 hours in wood .
Nowt about anything specifically concerning AutoTune that I saw (but to be honest I did speed read it in the way a teenager brushes over the stories in Razzle to get to the Readers Wives section at the back !!)

You need a well anchored stump vise and a wedge to get the chain as tight to the bar as possible, oh and your reading glasses ! And good light helps, sometimes use the torch on my phone but it kills the battery.
