Afternoon All,

 

I have been asked to find an intercom system for 3 of us that enables us to easily communicate all day without fiddling with buttons but also has the ability to play music through our phones and make and take calls etc. We don't want to pay a fortune as I am sure we will need to replace these yearly due to wear and tear on site. I found some Sena headsets for £80 each, which look like they will do the job but my question is... Does the intercom function stay open all day ( as in you don't need to press a button to speak each time )and when your music is playing does one of you speaking just pause the music and restart when you have finished.

Have a search around on here Jenny, there are several previous posts about the headsets and you'll find plenty on there using sena who can help. I just have tcom at the moment and they are only compatable 2 way not 3.

I have sena intercoms. They are great. Yes you press a button to call but its a big button so not an issue when wearing gloves. That button sends a beep to the others on the system and then automatically you (the button presser) goes live mic/voice. When the call is finished it ended by someone pressing the button to disconnect. If you were playing music before pressing the button then this automatically comes back on. If your phone is connected it will cut out the music for you to answer.
