John, in what scenario would you ever need to use the loader when the trailer is in the tipped position? In 30 experience of using ag machinery i have never come across one!

 

 

Obviously not been sugar beeting. Prior to front 3 point link the topper was attached to the front loader. The sugar beet harvester attached to the rear and the depth of the harvester controlled by the trailer tipper pipe while the depth of the topper controlled by the front loader.

 

John, i dont mean to give you a lashing, just read both posts again!

 

 

 

 

 

 

P.S, Not that it makes much difference, but I have lifted thousands of acres of beet!

Let us know how you get on Dave, sounds like you should get sorted.

 

In the end the dealer gave me a used cable and I just detach one of the four from the loader ( meaning that the loader still works apart from one function ) and attach the trailer hose. £26 job done :001_smile:

Nice one Dave, i guess you also found out, you dont need to use the loader when the trailer is raised:001_rolleyes:

I`ve actually found that I dont need the tipper at the moment cos I`m hand loading them into vented bags :confused1:

ACTUALLY .. thats something that bugs me about Arbtalk .. we have had threads on advice of cheap woodland for sale, difficulty getting self cert mortgages etc etc but we never get the happy ending info :biggrin:
