That would be my first option.

Then the Ventura pot (although I cant find anything about it on the net)

And then raising the stack itself.

Jelly is that the pot with the small diameter pipes sticking out pointing downward?

 

This design i assume causes an updraft/draw.

I dont really know to be honest, I'd never heard of one untill I spoke to my man this morning who knows a lot more about them than I do.

I think what you're describing is an 'H' pot.
