I have a number of Stihl saws but bought the above as a light use alternative. I have found the air filter system to be totally useless and after very light use have cleaned out the carb which was full of crap. Is this something which other members have found and can anyone suggest a remedy?

it depends on what is getting into  the carb and where. first thing is to use a sharp chain that doesn't produce fine sawdust
