Root decompacting and fertilising by Lee Winger and Dan Spooner of ''Arbor Aeration'' the first picture was taken at a large manor house in Bath. The big old beech was showing signs of a fungal infection of some kind, and I have a hunch the turfers when installing a new lawn, went over the root system with a large rotavator..

Second picture is of four trees being decompacted and fertilised in a beautiful regency garden in Gosport, the trees included a Yew, Ceder, Beech and a big old Tulip tree.

more pics, the soil was very compacted by pedestrians, you'd be surprised how much a small human foot can compact soil, we went over the root zone with our air decompactor first, breaking up the soil in layers, we then pumped in a mix of macro and micro nutrients along with myccor spores, then we went over the area again with the soil decompactor.
