I would like to get a quotation on public liability insurance and tool cover aswell, what company is everyone using that are straight forward and competively priced?

For all business insurance I use a broker - let them do the legwork as they know who to ask.  It may cost you a few quid on top but can save a lot of hassle.

Definitely speak to Rhys at Mcclarron Insurance though - I’ve just gone through a renewal and moved insurers from Lycetts to Trust but Rhys was very competitive.

I was with arbor risk for many years, for public liability, employees liability, chipper cover at home , travelling and work site, tool cover also. I only ever had to make one claim and they were brilliant, very quick turnaround.
