The P30 is the top of my wish list but it doesn’t come cheap. the tractor is 1.5ton and the dealer is suggesting the 210kg weight. If the knocker is grounded is it quite stable, does much energy rattle through the tractor?

I used to keep the machine on the linkage and use the hydraulic mast leg to stabilise it all when it came to driving the post- found it quicker just being able to back from post to post without touching the linkage each time. It doesn’t have much impact on the tractor if the mast leg is down in use. The issue with the weight of the implement is usually trying to tip the tractor sideways if on a slope rather than lifting the front end up. But plenty of ways to counter it if it’s a problem- wider wheel track- wheel weights or if the linkage can handle it simply stick more weight on the other side of the knocker.

not the best image, but my tractor weighs just over 1 tonne. I have to put 100kg of weights on the front or the steering is too light. This model doesn't have a stabilizer leg, but two feet that it rests on the ground. I have since had the feet modified so they can be shortened so you can bang posts in right up against an existing fence. I paid 3k for it, but that was 2008! It still looks good and works as it should. I only run the tractor on tick over too
