I dont agree with you there, buy a right and a left and use them alternate days, and learn to use them properly. Much better than footlocking.

 

That does sound like a good way to balance the strain/exercise out a bit. Never really thought about doing that. will pick up a lefty soon. Nice one:thumbup1:

well finally got a shot at using the pantin today to access a tree of heaven from the ground (survey in town, parked in multistory, too far to carry ladders!) prob a good 30-35ft assent. got a few Q's, how can i stop spinning round?!:blushing: also, is it easier (diddnt have time to experiment) if i were to put a sling between the bridge, and HC, as i found the HC in the perfectly wrong place

cool little gizmo though, can see it being used quite alot

the spinnig is your rope josh, mine is the same, i still havent milked it, yeah extend the hc out a bit for going straight up, thats what i was doing, i preferd just to put a small prussik on the static end to the hc and just put the crab on the end of the line, so i could adjust it to suit. i still havent tried my pantin with the spiderjack i will tell you how i get on with that
