Hmm. Oak gets hot all right; it just doesn't make a song and dance about it.

 

How many moisture readings have you taken?  Take a few from different logs in different parts of the pile.  Worth cutting one or two to measure the inside.  But after two years under a lid I'd expect those to dry unless the air doesn't move.

Perhaps open the vent on the burner a bit.

Agree with Steve, have also had people say it burns a whole lot better mixed with lighter wood like birch or willow, or softwood. Never had enough at once to fill a shed with it myself so it's always mixed for me.
