Hi Experts!

I planted this in the border a couple of years ago, thinking it was a small Coeur de Lion - I'm pretty sure Homebase sold it as such. It used to live in the small pot on the right of the photo.

The fluffy bit on top sprouted this summer. Can anyone tell me:

What it is?

How big it will grow?

I cut off any brown leaves (I think  that was the right thing to do) should I be doing anything else?

Will it sprout anything else?

Thank You..

It is a New Zealand Cabbage Trees, more commonly known as  'Cordyline australis' which is the scientific name, or just Cordyline  for short.  The tuft is the flower. They apparently grow big in the wild but typically up to about 5m in the UK.  They are hardy but can be killed by very hard frosts, i.e. below -15C

No need to do anything else.  Cutting the brown off is cosmetic.
