My sachs dolmar 114 is not starting. It gets gas and spark but it doesn't make any "starting noice". Can someone help me please

How are you deciding it's getting fuel? The 114 I had in my garage for 30 years was an absolute pig to get going but eventually ran with no stripping down

If i try to start it without the exhaust it spits some gas out of the cylinder, so its getting gas.

OK if the exhaust is off what does the piston look like? A picture would help. Has the flywheel been disturbed?

It's time for a new saw probably, that one is about 40 years old and deserves a rest :D Get a carb kit and try refurbishing it, it may be getting fuel but not in the right proportion if it is spitting it out the exhaust.. It's an old Tillotson design so they might be difficult to get in UK.

The piston doesn't look good. I don't have any pictures of it but it has some black lines and those black things doesn't come off. I do have a husqvarna but i'd like to get my dolmar working
