want to go from red to blue card, I understand I need to do a plant related NvQ to do so, is there any available that are arb/forestry related or is it just worth doing a standard one to tick the box, cheers

What are you trained in at the moment? The red card will be specific to certain plant.

Have a look at the citb website if you have any questions about the Plant Operators Blue Card.

If you have had your red card for two years; find a centre to complete your NVQ, they can register you for your NVQ and send the details to citb who will extend your red card for a year whilst you do your NVQ to achieve the blue card. If you contact your local CPCS centre then they can talk you through everything and let you know where you can get registered for the NVQ in your area.

Alternatively if an Arboricultural machine you could complete the Bali CSCS Smartcard instead.

Both categories of 360, tractor, skid steer

Does feel like I’m going round in circles. Assumed There’d be a nvq somewhat related to what I’m doing il probably pick piling.
