Whilst helping some macaw researchers I got to climb this monster..... which was nice. Its a mountain almond (Almendro). Dipteryx panamemsis

This is in northern Costa Rica, close to the Nicaraguan border. Researching and monitoring the Great Green Macaw habitat/behaviour. Its fascinating

Thanks David. Its very wet but certainly not cold. Great project to be involved in. Ill post a blog on here about it when I eventually come back
