Card payments out and about

Hi all

 

I'm sure I've seen something on here but can't find it, the search brings up posts from 2013 which may be slightly out of date!

 

What's the best system out there for taking card payments via your phone ?

I use this...

Easy to set up and makes great quotes, invoices and receipts and allows the customer to pay by card directly from the invoice. Not exactly what you asked for but maybe a solution. The app is free but there's a small percentage fee per payment.

I use Square.

 

Main benefit is that you can do card holder not present transactions legally & it allows you to store details (securely) for re billing.

I done some research when I was looking for a card machine. I got the iZettle machine. It was the most cost effective on all angles imo the machine was a one off fee of roughly £40 then the percentage of commission was small in comparison.
