Root Radar

Recommended Posts

If you are looking for 'mapping' of roots using sonic tomography then the Rinntech Radix could offer some useful info on. It doesn't give info on depth in the same way as ground penetrating radar but does indicate which roots are connected to the subject tree - which gpr doesn't. The two in conjunction would be good from a geeky perspective.

Where are you based - there are few users out there, I'm sure one is nearby. If that's what you were looking for?

Thanks MacD. Yes I have since been in touch with a couple of companies. Looks like I need Picus testing more than root radar. Am based in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

Slowly but surely we will prevail!
