Distel spikes (DMM) with Velcro straps

Hi Gents

 

Has anyone used the Distel spikes with the DMM shafts ? Velcro strap system.

 

Id appreciate some advice because I’m in the market for new spikes after my Komet Millers have finally worn out and I like the look of them.

I didn’t rate them at all, they feel cheap and the gaffs felt blunt right out of the box. I’d recommend either Buckingham or Bashlin with velcro pads.

Tried on loads of sets and the Distels won hands down. I don’t know where you got your set from but they sound a million miles from my Aluminium click versions. The set I have are perfect.

I got from treekit a few years ago I’ve sold them now and got some buckalloys with the super wrap pads

I've got the older alloy distels, not dmm ones, and my only complaint is the velcro lowers are really crap. The click ones look great though, I imagine they're decent spikes.

I got the Distel shafts to fit the arbpro quick step.
