Hi, I picked up a Sachs Dolmar 100 the other day, it sparks but fails to fire with a bit is Aspen down the plug hole. I did a compression test which showed about 105psi. Is this too low to get any sign of life from the saw?

Cheers

It is a tad low . Would want 120 at least to support combustion . 150 and above is good .

Depends on the gauge and what it measures on a saw that runs well. All gauges are not equal!

If it measures 150-170 on a good saw, 105 is pitiful as you should be looking at 150 bare minimum.
