Iam looking for a wood chipper to import to Portugal 

 

Can you advise a retailer that could give me a quotation for second hand  wood chipper branches with minimum of Ø 20 cm, and also a stump grinder (if possible Vermeer).

Be careful importing machines that are second hand. In some areas they may have different transport legislation requiring trailers to have their own identity and papers or, in some cases, the infeed controls have to be slightly different from standard English stuff. In all honesty, it may be better for you to by a new machine locally, okay, it will cost more, but you will then have the support of the local seller or importer and by buying a machine which complies with the law.

 

I am responsible for the small stock of units that GreenMech have and I have had to turn some business away because I am not always able to provide registration documents.

In Portugal the new  machines are very expensive, especialy to start a bussiness.

That´'s the reason we look for a second hand.
