APF Day Visitor - few questions.

Evening all,

I'm visiting the APF for the first time tomorrow, and had a few questions. I’m staying in Alcester, so not far away. What time can I feasibly get on site in the morning? I’ve heard the queues can be horrendous to access the site. I have my 10 month old lad with me, so I don’t want to be sat in the car static for hours.

Also, I have unfortunately left my printed ticket at home (trying to get from North Yorkshire with said baby in tow meant I wasn’t bound to forget something) so can I show the confirmation email on my phone when at the gate? Or do I need to find somewhere to get it reprinted?

Thanks in advance.

The gates open at 9, we arrived just gone and only queued 10 minutes but it was up to a two hour wait later so I think we got lucky. Hopefully you get straight in tomorrow but it depends how many people hear about today and go in early.

Not sure about the ticket, logically it's no different on a screen though.

Remember the same at the other end of the day also.

We set off early but didn't get there until 3 due to traffic and stops with the kids. Still got charged full wack at the gate and mosts stands didn't seem interested come 5 so why it says 6 I don't know.

At least an hour to get out of site in the car and not good with young kids in tow.

Hope the weather is kind to you and have. you good day.

I feel for people in the queues, but, it is inevitable that with any event with large amounts of people arriving or leaving at certain times then there will be a line of traffic. I would ask that you are patient and understand that a poor gentleman died last year at the event and it highlighted the need for a different, more rigourous plan. This may not work but it needs to be adhered too. I understand that the local Police may also dictate a traffic plan based on their own view too!
