you cant install the cambium saver mid line. you could if you used carabiners instead of rings but it works its way round the limb if its not wrapped around. and also a tether (tail of rope) is still needed to retrieve it. Just thought of th one above as it doesnt need hardly any gear-less stuff to carry and so less stuff to get jammed. but like i said before, i havent properly tried this one.

What are you using there drew , the back end of your climbing system ?

 

Only problem I can see is a numpty clipping into the wrong part of the bowline.

 

That tree in your back yard is probably the most famous demo tree around :laugh1:

 

Hey dean,

tail of rope to retrieve it and bowline is tied midline leaving as much rope as you need to work and tail to retrieve.any idea is only as good as the numpty using it:biggrin:
