I'm thinking of purchasing a second set of spikes, i have the Stein X2's which are fine apart from the "sticky outy" calf wrap pads. I have my eye on the Distel Ally Gecko's, how do lads find them? Thoughts, opinions and feedback please. Thanks in advance.

Have just replaced my spikes 2 months ago with the Distel carbon ones, with Velcro tops and leather straps on the bottom. I think these are by far my most comfortable spikes I’ve ever owned.

The aluminium ones suit my budget, velcro top straps and leather bottom straps. Prob get an extra set of long gaffs.

I can quite happily wear the geckos all day long with no discomfort, they are worth the extra.  I have carbons but comfort should be the same between carbon and ali, you just won’t look as cool
