The roller track might be a way forward. The metal cases that are meant to be there have been bashed ND dented over the years, and do more harm than good.

I do use the hiab to section down trees so they need to be robust. Maybe the metal ones sorted out again would be better.

It’s a difficult one what do you do for the best. I’d try the roller track first as think it’s pretty hardy and see how it goes or re instate the metal tracks and maybe cover with rubber sheets to give some protection

The crane we got mostly uses trays.You would have to bundle all the hose together with spiral or kevlar hose protection to keep them organised.would be much cheaper than igus track.

As long as the hoses are grouped it will work

On our hiab we have the hoses running through the boom so they dont get caught, the hoses are on a spring loaded reel.

Sounds interesting. Is it one reel that takes 4 hoses, or two reels with two hoses each?
