There not up to spec for safety (ie steel toe or sole) but I wear Altbergs iv had 5 yrs out of mine so far soles have just worn through so contemplating having them re-soled. But they are fantastic. Like training shoes to wear and they are gortex but breathable so can be worn right through summer and winter!

I always get leather boots and Nik wax and Dubbin them. I get at least 2 years+ out of a pair. I used to wear Haix, but the soles fell off a pair after 3 months and they wouldn't exchange them. I've worn Meindl ever since and the quality is
Unbeatable..look after your boots and they'll last longer and keep your feet dry emoji1360.png

Hi, can you tell me where you bought your Haix boots, what version and who refused an exchange as its our policy to Give one years warranty from date of sale in the UK, I am the man in the south for Workware and we support our products and dealers. When was this ? and do you still have the boots ?

It was about 10 years ago, I think I got them in the BTS shop, off the top of my head

Haix boots are waterproof, comfy and long lasting, most Arb shops sell them, if you want short boots get the blue Mountain, a tall boot is the protector pro, if you just want a landscaper boot without chainsaw protection they do a range to suit as well.

see www.workware.co.uk to see the range
