Honesty required..

I'm 50 and started doing a day or two a week at the beginning of last November with a mate of mine who's an experienced climber. I absolutely love it and proved to myself that I have the physical abilities and the enthusiasm  required. I'm doing my cs30/1 at the beginning of April - giving myself enough time to make sure that it really is for me - both physically and interest wise. So far, my enthusiasm has simply continued to grow and always look forward to the next day's work. By the way, my mate is 63 and climbs like a spider monkey ?

Hey Baz, hope you do go for it kiddo, I’m a young 51 this year and still climb on a regular basis, I am working for myself now so that allows me to pick n choose and to dismantle , prune at my own pace which I’m hoping will allow me to continue to climb until retirement?? But go for it as I’ve got a 47 year old who helps me out frequently and and he is great and only started himself a couple of years back... in meantime if you fancy going on some recreational climbs then I’m happy to come and show you the ropes, give you some pointers and let you go at various systems, I’m in Leicester so only around the corner [emoji106]
