Any KX71-3 Owners ?

As this has the longest reach and dumpheight of any sub 4 tonner class and can still be towed, looking to add one to our 5 tonner for the smaller jobs.

 

Had one a couple times on hire and seemed ok. Any long term owners have one - how they hold up ?

Don't own one myself, but often hire them, and they seem to be unrivalled in it's class.

Sub 4 ton? Sub 3 ton maybe. Kubota kx101 is sub 4 ton but much better reach. Have you looked at the Volvo Ec27c, I found the specs very comparable to the kx71 but it was 80kg lighter- which in my case was the difference between being legal or not- Takeuchi tb125 is another good un.

i did look at the volvo but 200mm less dump height, 300mm less reach (no long arm).

 

the long arm is 2800kg (buckets on the pickup obviously)

Can comfortably tow using this trailer and stay under 3.5 as long as not too much mud on her!
