You gotta feel sorry for the kit owner......

But god, I bet that was god fun!

Heard a story once about a disgruntled employee over here........

Bloke heard through the company grapevine that the boss was looking to lay him off at the end of the week, under some sort of "dubious" short notice circumstances....

Rather than go in at the end of the week, he books himself a last minute holiday....parked the company car in the SHORT STAY car park at Gatwick/Heathrow (can't remember which one)..... and disappears off abroad.

Rang the boss when he returned, and kindly informed him where his car was..... Boss retrieves car, only to be faced with paying the EXTORTIONATE parking costs.

:001_smile: Priceless.

Can be the cheapest way to park........... Three and a half weeks away, walk into the terminal explain that you've just lost your ticket but have only been there 10mins. Nice girl behind counter explains that your liable for full days parking at £35 quid, have a bit of an argument saying that its unfair lalalala but reluctantly you'll pay it. Hey presto a tenner a week, not at all bad.

P.S It doesn't work a second time round.....................

I heard a story about a manager with one of the major rial players. He emigrated and left the company car and his notice in short stay. The employer got a 'phone call saying can you collectthis car, it owes over a grand in fees! The employer wondered why he could not get hold of the employee!
