Keep it under cover ! You dont want rust and shite over the clutch and main plate causing it to slip.. very easy to strip down and clean up the parts though... worth taking out a copper mallet if it's not been used for a while to bash the main shaft to get it to release as ours sticks for a while if not been used.. if you decide to strip it and clean it up make sure you get the free spool right you should be able to pull the cable with out it binding and try and keep the grease off the main plate!.
There was a thread on rebuilding one recently on the forum..
