Noticed that at least two leaf springs are broken on the grab lorry.

I can get the springs easily enough, but is heavy duty equipment needed to change them?

Bit worried about ending up on the moon if i release something I shouldn't [emoji33]

Cheers

Thats the helper spring Al, looks like its been doing a bit of overtime helping :) Give Gary a call at FRM`s, they own Sperry springs and will be able to offer an upgrade on the main spring so the helpers just help again  There is a GV9 there Al so dont leave it.

The guys missed it Al, page 100 of the bible says broken or lose top leafs of a spring pack are an immediate prohibition, a fractured leaf within the pack are a deferred prohibition ( only allowed to drive back to the workshop) You really dont want either, the paperwork to remove them is a nightmare and worse still you will flag up as a pull for a fair time thereafter.
