Advice on setting up a website

As it says above really, Would you do it yourself or get someone else to do it. Who would you lot recommend there are so many advertising at the mo it gets abit overwelming. The people who have website whats the rough costs for someone else to do it???

spend more money and it will look better, but all depends what you want it for. if ts just to say you have a site then make your own, but the guys in the know, know how to get it up the ratings very quickly, there are grants out there for this ian if you contact your council, i got a 50% one

Get it built by a pro. Mine cost £250, much better than wasting loads of my time when I could be out earning money imo.

 

Peter, that looks pretty good value for £250. It's an impressive site.

 

I've tried doing this myself. Even if you think you've got time, it takes ages fiddling around to get the most simple site sorted, especially when you're trying to learn as you go on.

Spend a bit of money Ian. You will get a better job and it will save you LOADS of hours. I did my own first web page on googlepages, i spent days and days literally doing it. The new one i have (still in progress) i paid £200 for. Its optimized and way better than the one i did myself. There is a link from my web page to his but Peters one look first class, maybe try his guy. Its well worth it.
