I see what your getting at John and understand but to your average domestic they couldn't give a monkeys about LOLER PUWER or any other legislation all there interested in is how much and when, let's face it the travellers have fancy vans and chippers now and pass themselves off as pros!

That's what I'm getting at, my customers don't care about loler etc. I've no wish to educate them! But they do appreciate a nice looking tree or a tidy, damage free removal. A scheme which proved competence of work/skill would, I think gain a bit more traction/uptake and therefore be more widely known amongst domestic customers, the aaac as it stands is never going to infiltrate wider domestic work

I agree with what your saying John, that's why I haven't jumped in and done it even though we would fly through but we have done pretty much most of the other schemes going so will probably end up doing it regardless, I do agree with Paul if your wanting to build a good business it does give you a good audit of your procedures and work practices.

Hi John, and thanks again Ian for partaking here, and indeed putting things far more eloquently than I could...well at least much more to the point :001_huh:

John I too understand what you're suggesting, and all that stuff is integral to the scheme, and very important too, but the scheme seeks to encompass all sectors, albeit it's strength (because of SSiP) is mainly in the commercial sector granted, and compliance is the order of the day...this of course applies equally in the domestic sector even though "Joe Public" doesn't ask about it...unfortunately, I think :001_rolleyes:

Cheers,

Paul
