Thanks again, cabel has been sorted now with some heat shrink tubing.

Accidentally I found white plastic part lose in the fuel tank, I have googled it and it came as fuel tank vent identical to the one in this picture.

Where does this part fit, at first I thought it will just fit to the fuel cap but it would not.

The tank vent should be on the out side of the fuel tank some ware . Usually were the tank/back handle protrude under the carb/air filter housing .

To be fair Barry I dont have a clue on that saw . Just were it is mostly on my Huskeys ..
