are they any good? they seem a bit cheeper than oregon

owned by oregon for the last couple of years or so...

 

bars are pretty good, on par with oregon i'd say.

 

chain used to be ok, but may well be cheap chinese junk these days (like current GB chain) not sure tho...

 

 

 

edit: if clarke's say the chain is still good, then its good:thumbup1:

Oregon bought Windsor about 5 years ago. Windsor is the old Sandvik company and until last year their chain was made in Tennesse, factory now closed down. Think the Windsor chain is now manufactured in the North American Oregon factory.

It's like anything, given a choice: some prefer Oregon, some prefer Windsor....

 

(did I mention that our company is Windsor's distributor in the UK? :001_smile:)

quite so, kudos for giving people the choice of both:thumbup1: and thanks for the extra info about the windor-oregon connection.

 

i was confusing what i had heard about recent GB chain with windsor:blushing:
