Plant Minor Nutrients, Does anyone know anything about it??

Hi all,

I dont suppose anyone knows anything about MINOR plant nutrients:

IRON (Fe) , Manganese (Mn) , Copper (Co)

I need to know about their sources and their effects of deficiency and excess on plant growth,

Any answers would be great, have been to the library & spent most of the day googling, but no info.

thanks

Lee

Lee...You will find the following book very useful....As has been said, alot of the records for this area have been collated by the agriculturalists but is nonetheless good to go so to speak.....!

You may be able to obtain a copy from Jo Ryan @ Treesource

Treesource

"Plant Nutrient Disorders-5 " ( Ornamental Plants & Shrubs ) by G.C Cresswell & R.G.Weir ( Inkata press ISBN 0-909605-93-9 )

Cheers....

Iron whilst considered a micronutrient is needed in quite large quantities when compared to other micronutes, it's part of the chlorophyll A,b molecule along with magnesium. To be honest there are lots of websites out there detailing micronutrients and what they do.
