Which Van?

The isuzu is a great truck, turning circle is better than your average car and handles weight and towing like a beast. But if it senses the slightest bit of damp weather in a 24 hour period it'll spin like Kylie Minogue on ketamine. I'd say it's the weapon of choice if your gang also run a 4x4 to pull the bloody thing out of sticky spots or get the chipper places that can't go (anything other than tarmac)

I don't like the seating position of the Nissan cab star, I do like the Mitsubishi canter. I've heard good things about the Isuzu.

If I was getting one, I'd look for a Mitsubishi.

I believe the flat fronts look more professional and have a good turning circle, but are more expensive than normal vans to repair.

Trouble is with my budget those on eBay are battered old builders trucks

Amen to the parts expense. Mine is 04 126000miles and has been really reliable and is a great truck. But Mercedez own it so aftermarket parts are not easy to find and Rossetts is expensive. Check how expensive parts are for each vehicle, pay load and fuel consumption.
