Elm price

After a ballpark figure please.

We have two elms, approx. 450 cu/20 tonne in total (~250 year old) going away for milling. Middle-man contractor has felled and extracted to roadside at his cost and he will be paying haulage. Two guys on the job.

Had to be felled first to see where rot stopped. Luckily this was about a meter above the cut.

We get to retain crown for firewood.

Any ideas on the going rate to us?

You are expecting to be paid?:001_huh:

If I was the contractor I would be expecting to send you a bill. Maybe if they were really nice timber and there was no real tidy up, IE all the top just left there for you, the timber may cover the cost, but not something I've done or wanted to do.
